I just bought a new pair of Adidas sneakers which were produced in Indonesia. The car I own was designed by a Japanese company and manufactured in Thailand. It is commonplace for people to own a variety of products which were produced in different countries around the world. Whenever I have a chance to choose between international and domestic products which are similarly priced and of similar quality, then I will invariably choose the domestic option. Furthermore, when it comes to food, I certainly prefer to support the local economy, even if that means paying a little extra of my hard-earned money.
